Our client, a leading organization in British Columbia established in 1960 with a strong customer service focus has an excellent opportunity for a results-driven Public Affairs Manager. This company is dedicated the success and growth of their employees while providing a dynamic and supportive environment.
 
As a key member of the Public Affairs Team, this position is actively engaged with media and a variety of key community, government and corporate stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with a variety of committees including local government representative, local interest-based committees and local-project based committees.
CANDIDATE PROFILE  
Requirements:
 
  • Minimum 5 – 10 years related experience in a public relations, community relations or communication role with public speaking experience
  • Experience working with a wide variety o stakeholders managing difficult issues
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, charismatic and engaging.
  • Degree in Business Communications or other related field
